The Ponca Race is a big deal in Kansas. So big, that two brothers from Motoplayground took it upon themselves to keep the series alive, after it was shut down for years. A four-day event, the top amateur riders from around the country gather in Ponca city, to throw some dirt and get after some high intensity racing.

MotoPlayground approached me through Instagram for assistance with creating an illustrated poster series and related imagery for the event. Working closely with the owner, I was tasked with bringing electric illustration styles and concepts to life for each unique poster. The only guideline was to create bold and impactful imagery that was appropriate for a family-friendly, alternative atmosphere.
